Welcome to the Kanelis Lab!

Exploring Protein Structure, Dynamics, and Function

In the Kanelis research laboratory, we use biochemical and biophysical methods to study the structure, dynamics, and function of protein complexes. Our research focuses on ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters, potassium channels, and metallochaperones, with a special interest in intrinsically disordered regions that regulate protein activity.

Are you interested in structural biology, protein biophysics, or molecular mechanisms of disease? We are always looking for motivated students to join our team.
